COLOUR & MULTI MEDIA.
Colleen Michelle Connors is a multi media colourist and will assist you to explore different mediums separately and combined. Colleen will bring out the creativity in you and encourage expressiveness through drawing, painting, and collage. A fun class for those interested in a more contemporary and colourful artwork.

DRAWING & PAINTING.
Hilary Mackay is an experienced tutor and a versatile and energetic artist. Currently commissioned to create 2 large stained glass window works for the Queanbeyan Hospital's chapel. Hilary teaches many and varied techniques of painting and drawing with immense passion and encourages her students to creatively explore their own ideas and subjects. A more individual lesson approach.

ALL MEDIUMS.
Margaret Hadfield is a major prize winning international artist who is versatile in all mediums. Margaret's classes are good humoured and easy to follow in her own step by step program. Margaret's focus is about 'light and colour' and teaching you some of her own techniques. The varied subjects and mediums are supplied. These classes are mainly oil, acrylic and pastel with some watercolour/inks. Margaret's work and profile can be seen when you click here.

CERAMICS.
Alicia Kane an Honours graduate from Canberra School of Art has studied in Glasgow, Kyoto and the Jam Factory (Adelaide). Alicia enables and guides her students in developing their skills and ideas in creating their own work. Alicia's class is mostly hand building and glazing but will involve more wheel work as she obtains funding for more equipment. Alicia's work and profile can be seen when you click here.

JENNY ROBBINS.
Jenny Robbins is a professional artist and tutor whose career spans over 40 years. Jenny's pastel portraits have been published in Australian Artist Magazine. Jenny is an enthusiastic and encouraging teacher, who places great importance on giving each student practical help and individual attention. Subject matter for each lesson will be supplied, but students will also be encouraged to work from their own source material.

VISUAL ART FOUNDATION PROGRAM.
Dennis Mortimer graduated from Canberra School of Art in 1997 he also studied at Glasgow School of Art (1994/95). Dennis has exhibited in many exhibitions domestically and internationally and has been tutoring for many years. The Foundation Program addresses the basic principles of the craft in 2 dimensional art using a variety of mediums and materials. Term 1 - Training the eye. Structure and form through observation and practice. Drawing with some clay modeling. Term 2 - Design: Composition of shapes, colour, form, line and space formal aspects of visual art. Looking at still life, abstract and sculpture. Drawing, painting and collage. Term 3 - Visual language: imagery, symbols, and palette. Drawing, painting, collage and theory/art history. Term 4 - Own project. Subject of your choice and medium/materials. The objective of this program is to provide a solid grounding in the formal foundations underpinning the craft in 2 dimensional art. DRAWING AND PRINT MAKING - CLAIRE PRIMROSE
Clare Primrose graduated from Canberra School of Art (ANU) in 1998, obtainer her Diploma of Education and taught at secondary schools in the Canberra region as well as developing her own art practice. Clare a very talented artist won the 2009 Queanbeyan Art Award, brings to her students an experience of organic intuitive art with an understanding of composition and balance.

WATER MEDIUM
David Hatton is a very experienced prize winning artist and tutor. David has exhibited widely and his work is held in a multitude of collections. David offers techniques that make water colour loose and fun as he stretchers his students imagination in exploring water mediums as well as oil pastels. David is extremely generous and encouraging to all.

BEGINNERS LIFE DRAWING/PORTRAITURE
Dennis Mortimer conducts these classes over four, 2 hour sessions. As in most of Dennis's tuition he deals with the basics of the craft - observation (what to look for), structure (aspects of what underpins the image), form (light and shade). Classes are scheduled when 7 bookings are taken, limit of ten per class.
